how do i solve this you need 3 parts of blue for each 5 parts of yellow you have have 2 can of yellow
divide 3 by 5 then double that
3 / 5 = x / 2 where x = cans of blue .......... cross-multiply
3 * 2 = 5 * x
6 = 5x dide b 5
6/5 = x = 1 + 1/5 cans of blue
