I'm supposing this is :

10 / (2q+8) =1/10      and we can write this as

(2q + 8) / 10   =   10 / 1       multiply both sides by 10

(2q + 8)   =  100         subtract 8 from both sides

2q  =   92          divide both sides by 2

q  = 46
