SO    a^2 + b^2  +  c^2  = 200   (given in the question)

we know from Pythag theorem that   ( a^2 + b^2 )  = c^2    Substitute this into the first equation results in:

c^2 + c^2  = 200

c^2 = 100

c = hypotenuse = 10
