99999^(10⁵) / 10⁵^(10⁵⁾ [ * (10^-5) / (10^-5)

= (10⁵ - 1) / 10⁵

Sorry, Asinus.....we can't just "cancel" exponents in that fashion.......

Your answer ends up being = 99999/100000 = .99999

However..........

99999^100000 / 100000^100000 =

[99999/10000] * [ 99999/100000] * [99999/100000].........100,000 times

[99999/100000]^100000 ≈ .3679
