The Hirsch family is planning a three-week trip to the rainforest this August. This area experiences humidity levels of 90% or more 70% of the time in August. How many days in the rain forest can the family expect to have humidity levels below 90%? Explain

If the area experiences humidity levels above 90% or more 70% of the time.....then 30% of the time the humidity level is below 90%

And 3 weeks  =  21 days  .....so.....

21 days * 30% of these  =   about 6.3 days  =  6 days (rounded)
