When a current ,i , flows through a given electrical circuit, the power, W, of the circuit can be determined by the formula W=120i - 12i² . What amount of current,i , supplies the maximum power, W???

a maximum is where the "slope" is equal to 0:
[input]diff( 120x - 12x^2 )[/input]
[input]-(24*x)+120=0[/input]
