A regular hexagon has a perimeter of $p$ (in length units) and an area of $A$ (in square units). If $A = 3,$ then find the side length of the hexagon.

Area of a hexagon  =  6 (1/2) s^2  sin (60°)    where s is the side length

3 =  6 (1/2) s^2 *sqrt (3)  / 2

3 = 3 s^2 * sqrt (3)  / 2

s^2  = 2 / sqrt (3)

s = sqrt  [ 2  / sqrt (3) ]   ≈ 1.075
