In two or more complete sentences, describe how to graph each of the following equations: y=2, y=-1/2x, x-y=4.
y = 2 is just a horizontal line at y = 2
y = -1/2 x pick two x values - I'll pick 0 and 2
So, when x = 0 , y = 0
And when x = 2, y = -1
So we have the points (0, 0) and (2, -1)......draw a line through both and there's your graph
x - y = 4
This is similar to the last one ... when x = 0, y = -4 and when y = 0, x = 4.
So the points (0, -4) and ( 4, 0).......draw a line between the two and there's your graph.
