Is this meant to be 1/(x-2) + 2/(x-1) = 6/x  ?

If so, multiply all terms by x(x-1)(x-2) to get   x(x-1) + 2x(x-2) = 6(x-1)(x-2)

Simplify:  x^2 - x + 2x^2 - 4x = 6x^2 -18x +12

Collect like terms   3x^2 -5x = 6x^2 -18x +12

Subtract 3x^2 from and add 5x to both sides:    0 = 3x^2 - 13x +12

This factors as (3x - 4)(x - 3) = 0

So  x = 4/3  and  x = 3
