Hi! If there are 10,000 people in a city and one person told five of their friends to tell five of their friends about something, how long would it take to reach all 10k people?
Never because there is one person who has no friends and no one tells him/her anything.
The rest just get told over and over again until the next bit of exciting trivia comes along.
10,000 = 5^x
x = Log(10,000) / Log(5)
x = 5.7227 or just under 6x.
5 > 25 > 125 > 625 > 3,125 > 10,000
