The area of a kite is 60 m^2. The length of one diagonal is 20 meters. What is the length of the other diagonal?

Area  of  a  kite   =    (1/2)   product of  the  diagonal  lengths

 

So

 

60  =  (1/2) (20)  ( x)

 

60  =  10 x

 

60 / 10  =  x    =   6    =   the  length of  the other diagonal
