well i know how to put a matrix into web2.0, how do i find the whole number things of it if it were a system of equations?
\(\begin{bmatrix} -8 && 4 && -2 && 1 && 1 \\ 0 && 0 && 0 && 1 && 5 \\ 8 && 4 && 2 && 1 && 9 \\ 27 && 9 && 3 && 1 && 36 \\ \end{bmatrix}\)
i need to know the values of the variables in this. format is
\(ax^3 + bx^2 +cx +d =y\)
also, the numbers in the matrix are the values that go onto the variables
anyone have my answer?
idk how to explain any better...
This is "solvable" by at least two methods that I know of OBT, but it can be a little cumbersome with matrixes that are larger than 3 x 3
Here's a website that will help you : http://matrix.reshish.com/matrixMethod.php
Click on the tab that says "Inverse Matrix Method" and choose the matrix dimension [ this one is "4"]......hit "Set Matrix" and a matrix will come up....you can fill in the coefficients and then hit "Solve"
The solution to this system is
x^3 = 5/3
x^2 = 0
x = -14/3
d = 5
