Hey y'all! I have a problem on my homework that I don't understand. It's about unit prices. Okay, here's the problem:

Decide which is the better value based on the unit prices - 1 L of pop for $0.90 or a case of 24 cans of 355 mL of pop for $4.25.

Can you guys at least show me how to do it? I don't need an answer, just help on the worksteps.

Llama on!

24 x 355ml = 8,250ml   = 8.25L   ( ....remember MamaLlama...1000ml = 1L )

So 4.25 / 8.25 = about 51.5 cents per L

Which is a better buy than 1L for 90 cents

you have to take each price and devide it of how many things are in like a pack of pop if there is six you would put $3.05 devided by six

Well, how do you convert mL to L? Do you not need to do that in this problem?
