Guest: if 9% equals 6.6 then what does 0.3% equal
There are at least 2 very different ways to do a question like this.
Method 1 Let x be the number that you are looking for
x / 0.3% = 6.6 / 9%
x = 6.6 / 9% * 0.3%
x = 6.6 / 9 * 0.3
x = 0.22

Method 2 9% is 6.6
1% is 6.6/9
0.1% is 6.6/9 divided by 10
0.3% is 6.6/9 divided by 10 * 3
0.3% is 0.22
If you are comfortable with algebra, I think the first way is better.
