Well.....if 1256 / 3.14  = 4........this indicates that   4 * 3.14  =  1256......impossible!!!

But

1256 / 3.14  = 400  because  400 * 3.14   =  400 * 3 + 400 * 14   = 1200 + 56 = 1256

[I think you forgot about the decimal !!! ]
