how could I turn 25.4 into a scientific notation

Okay when you have to turn a number into a scientific notation, you want to move the decimal until it gets to a number between 1 and 10 (just incase you didnt know)

25.4

2.54 x 10

I'm pretty sure its just 10 because usually you dont do 10 to the first power but it might actually be 10 to the second power
