how do i do this

y=1/4x+1 2y=2x-4

\(y=\frac{1}{4}x+1\\2y=2x-4\)

\(2\cdot( \frac{1}{4}x+1)=2x-4\\\frac{1}{2}x+2=2x-4\\6=\frac{3}{2}x\)       [\( y=\frac{1}{4}x+1\)

\(x=4\)

\(y=1+1\)

\(y=2\)

laugh  !

Thanks Alan!   I correct that.
