How do I find the missing side of a triangle using trigonometric ratios?

Using the trig ratios, consider the stated sides and/or angles. Use the trig ratio that includes the given side and/or angle and the unknown side and/or angle.

For instance, if you are given the angle and the adjacent side, and you want to find the opposite side, use the tangent function as it involves that ratio of the opposite side over the adjacent side.
