How do I find two points on a graph?

Can you give us and example please and we will show you.

say 

$$y=3x+2$$

when x=0

y=3*0+2=2

so (0,2) is one point

When x=1

y=3*1+2=3+2=5

so (1,5) is another point.

Is this what you mean?
