Hey diddle diddle,

the median's the middle,

you add and divide for the mean,

the mode is the one you see the most and

the range is inbetween  :))

It should ALL be in your textbook!!:

 

Mean [5+7+11+17+8+13+23+15+27] = 126, if you count them, you should get 9

126/9 =14 is the Mean.

 

Find the median of the list:
(5, 7, 11, 17, 8, 13, 23, 15, 27)

The list, sorted from smallest to largest, is:
(5, 7, 8, 11, 13, 15, 17, 23, 27)

The median of the list (5, 7, 8, 11, 13, 15, 17, 23, 27) is the element in the middle, which is:
Answer: |13

 

Find the mode (commonest element) of the list:
(5, 7, 11, 17, 8, 13, 23, 15, 27)
