How do i multiply two fractions

The denominator of the first fraction will be multiplied by the denominator in the second fraction and the numerator of the first fraction will be multiplied by the numerator of the second fraction. but always simplify.

 

example: 1/2 X 2/4= 2/8 = 1/4
