how do i solve such an equation: 32=e^0,0361x

I assume we have

32=e^(0.0361x)       take the ln of both sides

ln 32 = ln e^(0.0361x)     and by a log property, we have

ln 32  = (0.0361x) ln e      and ln e  = 1  ...so we have....

ln 32 = 0.0361x       divide both sides by 0.0361

ln 32 / 0.0361 = x = about 96.004
