how to you idenify the speed of something?

Use this formula: V=S/T     V=Velocity (Speed) S=Distance T=Time

 

So if you know how far an object went and in how much time it went that far you just divide the distance travelled by the time taken.

 

Example: Mike ran 4 meters in 4 seconds. S/T=V 4/4=1
