First find Lowest Common Denominator.

Then add numerator.

Then Simplify.

e.g.

1/3 + 2/4

LCD

3,6,9,12

4,8,12

Its 12!

So,

1/12 + 2/12

Now it gets easier.

1+2 =3

3/12

Simplifed = divide by 3

Which is 1/4

Using those steps, (if you want) try to do :

3/4 + 6/5
