The ministry of foreign affairs paid $37m in rentals and leases, $6m in maintenance,$2.7m in rates and taxes and $4.26m in utilities last year. It has budgeted to spend $51m this financial year. How much more is it spending this year then last year?

51   -   ( 37 + 6 + 2.7  + 4.26)  =  1.04m more than last year

1.04/(37+6+2.7+4.26)= 2.08% more
