How do you factor 2x^2-3x

There is no equal sign in the question so it is not an equation so there is nothing to solve!

you are just asked to factorise. x is the only common factor, so this is the answer.

$$2x^2-3x = x(2x-3)$$

=>    x(2x-3)=0 or (x-0)(2x-3)=0

=>  then x=0, 2x=3

=>          x=0,  x=3/2
