how do you find a function of zero??? for ex) y=x(x+2)(x+3)

I am not sure what you mean but the zeros or the roots are the x intercepts which is where y=0

No y will equal zero if any one of those factors =0

ie

x=0       or      x+2=0    or      x+3=0
