So this hexagon consists of 6 equilateral triangles where the area of each triangle = 1/2 * 5 * 5 * √(3)/2 =

25√(3)/4. So multiplying this by 6, we get

6 *(25√(3)/4) = 3*(25√(3)/2 = 75√(3)/2 square units
