how do you find the slope of a graph?

If it is a line, then pick two points on the graph   x1, y1      and  x2 , y2   

then slope = 'm' = rise/run =  (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

 

If it is NOT  a line, you will need the equation of the graph and then you will take the derivative of that equation to get the slope of the graph at any given point......

 

There may be other ways......
