how do you find the slope of the line in a graph and out of a graph

You select two points on the line and subtract them. For example, (x0,y0) & (x1, y1) -->

y1 - y0 divided by x1 - x0 to get your rise over run or basically delta y over delta x.

 

I am not sure what 'out of a graph' is though...
