The column of numbers on the left side of the ratio table will be x, and the right side will be y. When plotting points, you make coordinates with (x, y). So if there was a table with the left column having a 5 and the right column having a 4, the coordinates would be (5, 4). You would move on the x axis to the five, and go up four.
