You can make a T-table and plot the results. Then draw the line through the points.

x y
0 -4
1 -1
2 2
3 5
4 8
5 11
6 14
7 17
8 20
9 23
10

Plot these (x, y) coordinates on a graph and draw a line straight through them.

In case you don't know how to make a T-table, just start with a number in the first column, plug into the equation, then record your answer in the other column. Then keep going with more numbers until you feel like you can draw a graph with them. That will give you plottable (x, y) coordinates, with which you can draw a graph.

I hope this was helpful :) - LambLamb
