How do you multiply a whole negative whole number by a fraction? Ex. -3 2/9 * 1/5

 

 Ex. -3 2/9 * 1/5. You turn -3 2/9 into an improper fraction like this: -[9 X 3 + 2] / 9=-29/9

-29/9 X 1/5=-29/45. That is it.
