how do you use log bases other than 10?
Type in
log(a, b) where a is the anti-log {the number you want to take the log of} and b is the base
If you hold your mouse curse abouth log you will see: "Logarithm of Number x to Base 10, log(x) or Base y, log(x,y)". So for example if you want to calculate $$\log_2 8$$ just enter "log(8,2)" and you will get the correct output $$\log_2 8 = 3$$.
