How do you solve an equation where you have to do inverse sine? My math problem is: sinx=10/20. If someone could help me through this, I would be grateful.

arcsine is the same as asin which is the same as sin-1

Press 2nd then asin on the calculator

$$\underset{\,\,\,\,^{\textcolor[rgb]{0.66,0.66,0.66}{360^\circ}}}{{sin}}^{\!\!\mathtt{-1}}{\left({\frac{{\mathtt{10}}}{{\mathtt{20}}}}\right)} = {\mathtt{30^{\circ}}}$$

Just take the inverse/arc sin of 0.5.
