Technically that's not possible unless there are two different equations using the same variables... then you could either use subsitution or addition to solve the problem.

In case there isn't a second equation, the most you can do is simplify for x or y or whatever variable is involved.

if it's an x (f,z,m etc.) try to get it by itself. if it's equal to y(or other) than just divide everythng by the y's coefficient. hope that helped.
