start by multiplying everything by t, to get

[center]12-t 2=t[/center]

then take the t to the other side

[center]-t 2-t+12=0[/center]

now, you've got values for a, b, and c so you should be able to use the quadratic formula. (a=-1, b=-1, c=12)
