In that case, you would use "Cosine", because:

Cos(x) =Adjacent(base) / Hypotenuse.

You use what I told you:

Cos(12) =base(100) / hypotenuse. Take the cos of 12 degrees,

0.9781476 =100 / hypotenuse

Hypotenuse =100 / 0.9781476

Hypotenuse =102.234
