How do you type a squared number?
An Explaination
1. Insert wanted number you want to be squared to a calculator (computer) Eg 12
2. then put 12^ then a two no spaces so it should look like this 12^2
On this website's calculator you can enter 12, then the xy button, then 2.
Note that on many other calculators the "square" function is an independent key, sometimes marked x2.
