how does is -2 squared = 4?
Hold on a bit here.
$$\\(-2)^2=-2*-2=4\\but\\-2^2=-2*2=-4$$
It is very important that you work out the difference.
-2 squared is basically -2 * -2. And we know that two negatives always make a positive, so -2 * -2 is +4
response^ Thank you
