How high do you have to lift a 1 kg box of candy to give it 98 Joules of Gravitational Potential Energy?

Potential Energy is E = mgh

Re-arranging give h = E/mg

therefore for a 1kg box and taking acceleration due to gravity, g, to be 9.8ms^-2

h = 98/1*9.8 = 10m
