CH4 is a molecule.  It is made up of 5 atoms.  Do you want the number of molecules or the number of atoms?

A mole is Avogadro's number worth, so there are approximately 3*6.022×10²³ molecules of CH4 and 5 times that number of atoms in 3 moles of CH4.
