how many feet in a foot

This can go two ways:

The first, "feet" is the plural of foot as far as measurement goes. That means, you would have to have more than one foot to get feet.

 

The second, you can take a someone's feet and see how many times their feet can be along a ruler without them exceeding 12 inches or 1 foot. If you were to do that, I would suggest a baby's foot, so the value would be bigger. So if you are planning to do this, grab a ruler and ....
