How many tablets should i have left in a 30 packet, if i started taking them on 20th Sept 2013 on a routine basis
Never mind my older post.
According to Wolfram Alpha there are 506 days since 20th Sept 2013. If you take 30 tablets on a routine basis, the calculation should be like this:
506/30 = 16 "and something". This means that you have used 16 packages and is taking tablets from your 17th.
16 * 30 = 480 This means that there are a total of 480 pills in 16 packages.
506 - 480 = 26 This means that you have taken 26 tablets from your 17th (and last) package.
30 - 26 = 4 This means that there should be 4 tablets left
This should hold if you took one tablet 20th Sept 2013, and none thus far today.
NB: I might have done an error somewhere in my calculation, that I don't know about. Maybe CPhill or Melody or someone could calculate this/control my calculation.
When one take tablets over several months, one might easily forget a tablet once or twice. For some medications it is very important to not miss a tablet. For others, it doesn't really matter. Ask your doctor if you are in doubt!
You ask how many tablets you should have left TODAY if you bought ONE package of 30 tablets, and started taking them 20th Sept 2013 ?
Zero ?
