How many unique ways are there to arrange the letters in the word IRON?

There are 4 ways to choose the first letter....3 ways to choose the second letter ......2 ways to choose the second letter.......and 1 way to choose the last letter

Thus......4 x 3 x 2 x 1 = 24

BTW......this is known as 4!    (4 factorial)
