The rule I learned is "Keep" "Change" "Flip"

For instance  (4/3)  /  (5/6)

"Keep" the first as it is   .... "Change" to multiplication...."Flip" the second.....so we have

(4/3) x (6/5) =  (24/15) = (8/5)

Sometimes, it's helpful if we can reduce BEFORE we multiply...in the case, we have

(4/3) x (6/5)  .......Note....that when multiplying fractions, we can sometimes "swap" numerators or denominators as we wish to make "reducing" easier ...so we have......

(4/5) x (6/3)  = (4/5) x (2/1) = (8/5)

Notice how easy it is to reduce when I "swapped" the two denominators - 5 and 3.  Multiplying with that "trick" usually makes things easier  ...!!!!
