Frequency   = 1 / period

 

We can find the period of  f(θ)=−1.75 cos(1/2(θ + 60°))  thusly :

 

(1/2)x = 2pi   multiply both sides by 2

 

x = 4 pi   ......and this is the period

 

So the frequency   =  1 / [4 pi ]
