HOW DO YOU SOLVE THIS?!?!?!? A rectangular tank 27 centimeters by 20 centimeters by 37 centimeters is 1/2 filled with water. The water is poured into a cubical tank with an edge length of 16 centimeters until it is 3/4 full. How much water is left in the rectangular tank? Give your answer in liters rounded to one decimal place.

(3/4) Cube  volume  = (3/4)* 16^3         (1)

Water in rectangular tank   =  (27* 20*37) / 2       (2)

So........the amount  of water left in rectangular tank  =   (2)  - (1)   =

(27*20*37) / 2  -   (3/4)* 16^3    =

      9990         -           3072    =

          6918  cm^3
