How do I type in fractions when I post an answer or a question? And also how do I box them so I can indicate it?

when I type fractions it looks like this x/y but i want it to look like this x

                                                                                                           y

Use LaTeX. The icon should look like this: \(\Sigma \;\;\text{LaTeX}\).

Fractions: \dfrac{numerator}{denominator}. Example: \dfrac{3}{5} \(\rightarrow \dfrac{3}{5}\).

Boxes: \boxed{(Your equation)}.

Example:
\boxed{\displaystyle\int^1_0 f(x) \mathbb dx = \lim_{n\rightarrow \infty}\sum^{n}_{k=0}\dfrac{1}{n}f\left(\dfrac{k}{n}\right)}

\(\boxed{\displaystyle\int^1_0 f(x) \mathbb dx = \lim_{n\rightarrow \infty}\sum^{n}_{k=0}\dfrac{1}{n}f\left(\dfrac{k}{n}\right)}\).
