Tan-1 as in tan^-1 is the same as arctan or "atan" on the calculator on this website. First, click the "2nd" key on the top left of the scientific calculator. Second, you should see an "atan" 3 keys below the "2nd" key. [Note that the tan key changes from tan with a grey -1 --> atan.] Third, just input whatever you have in the atan such as atan(1).
